Fulford Confederate Prisoners of War

The following information was extracted from the James S. Schoff Civil War Collections in the William L. Clements Library at The University of Michigan. This collection contains records from the Point Lookout, MD, prison camp for Confederate prisoners of war, located at the tip of the peninsula where the Potomac River joins Chesapeake Bay. This prison was in operation from August 1863 to June 1865.
